Owners Bruce and Mendy Wallace have been a part of the Prescott community since 1973 (Bruce) and 1983 (Mendy). Bruce graduated from Yavapai College in 1982 and then went on to obtain his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. In the early 80’s, while Mendy was busy caring for their very busy 5 children, Bruce not only worked in the Engineering Department of Global Navigation in Prescott, but also obtained his Car Dealers License and began “5 Star Auto”, selling “super clean” cars from his dad’s Exxon Service Station located in Prescott at the 5 Points Intersection.  In the early 90’s Bruce went on to purchase “The Oak Tree” furniture store in Prescott, (while still buying and selling “super clean” cars) and began providing the people of the Prescott area with high quality furniture — for over 16 years!

Going back to his roots, in 2013 Bruce purchased the closed down car wash on Yavapai Road in Prescott Valley, and “5 Star Cars” came to life!  And just as he has been doing for many years, he continues to offer folks from all over Arizona (and many other states) high quality products, comfortable, professional service, and second to none support after the sale! LUKE PERO

Luke has been with 5 Star Cars since day one, and is certainly a big part of our success!

Luke has a degree in Automotive and Diesel Technology, and has been involved in mechanics since the early 80’s. He has specialized experience in all makes and models including European and Asian Imports. He also spent 13 years as a Quality Control Inspector and Department Lead in Aviation Repair and over 10 years as a repair facility owner! Luke has a vast amount of automotive knowledge and hands on experience with every conceivable automotive repair and maintenance challenge!

Luke personally drives all our cars a minimum of 75 miles and there is seldom an issue that escapes his keen diagnostic skills! Although we have other great technicians on staff, it’s Luke that makes sure all our vehicles are in top condition, with no issues!

And on top of all that, Luke is as fine a person as you will find.  He is always willing to help and share his knowledge with someone in need.  If you haven’t done so already, stop by and say hello to Luke!

SKYLAR HANSON

Skylar comes to us from the Great White North, and is a very valuable member of the 5 Star Team!  Besides keeping 5 Star Cars in front of the Wide World of internet shoppers, he also does a super job helping folks that come in looking for their next vehicle. Skylar also manages the day to day operations! He handles many tasks from photography, checklist entry and maintenance to tracking our cars through Inspection, Reconditioning, and Testing.
